A Day in the Life—in Pictures
Prof. Kevin Bubriski’s digital photography class is preparing an ambitious project to document life at GMC. Students will dedicate class time on Thursday, March 29 for the “Day in the Life of Green Mountain College” photography project. Students in the class will be taking photos the entire day and evening, covering different aspect of College life including classes, sports and activities.
The class will establish a blog where the best images from the day will be posted. Other students, faculty and staff are also invited to contribute to this project. To make submissions, enter photos in the public course folder for Art 3062 (digital photography). Each submission should be in a folder with the photographer’s name on it. Each image should be 1MB-10MB jpeg file size with the photographer’s name. The digital class will work together as editors to shape the final selection of images.
“While we encourage everyone to make their own personal and interesting photographs of the day, we also see great potential for this collection of photographs to help the college present itself to the larger public,” said Bubriski.
Photographers will carry permission/release forms to obtain signatures of those people that they photograph.
